Donna over at An Enchanted Cottage, suggested that I post a Challenge to everyone to join me on my goal of losing 10 lbs by the first of the year!

So, here it is.

It's the Holiday Season now and we are all going to faced with parties, eating out, cookies, pies and well... FOOD, FOOD, FOOD!

Most people end up gaining weight at this time of the year. It's my goal to not only NOT gain but to lose 10 lbs by New Years.

We have 8 weeks left in this year so 10 lbs is a very do able amount. That's only a little over a pound a week.

Are you up for it? Do you want to join me? If so, let me know. Then when the end of the 8 weeks is here we can all check in and I'll post about how we all did.

Doing things with others makes it easier. Support is the most important thing in losing weight. So let's support each other. We can do this.

Think how happy and proud you will be when you see 10 lbs gone after the Holidays and everyone around you is talking about how they gained and need to get on a diet. You will already be there.

I'm in! Perfect timing since I just joined Weight Watchers!

I laughed when you told me that I'm going to love WW! This is not my first time there! It's probably closer to 20 times! haha! It is one of the best ways to lose weight. My doctor told me that he's seen more long-term success from his patients that did WW more than any other diet.

I'm in too. I just read Cindy's blog about joining and I joined two weeks ago for the umpteenth time. It is a good program if you stick with it and the only way I have really lost. I'm hoping your challenge will help me stick with it this time.

Oh, I'm so in....10 pounds would be awesome by the new year. I'll check out the WW meetings in my area. It will be the umpteenth time for me too. Yvonne :)

Well you know I'm on board, Joanne! ha ha I've been keeping a log on my sidebar of my weight loss and it's very clear that when I skip WW meetings and/or weigh-ins, I do NOT do good!! So I'm getting back on track... We can all do it!!!... Donna

That's so funny Joanne! I just (a few days ago) made a similar goal for myself--10 pounds by Christmas. I call it my mini-goal, to keep me on track during the holiday season. So I'll definitely join you. Let's wish us all luck!
