SPRING IS VERY NEAR

I love Spring time when all the flowers come out. One of the most lovely flowers that shouts Spring time, to me are, Tulips.

They come in so many colors and all look a bit different.

I fell in love with these red ones. Mostly because of the pretty inside they have.

They almost look fake. It just goes to show you what a beautiful artist God really is.

We have them our my kitchen. Our kitchen is red, black and white so they go perfect in there.

I actually bought them and gave them to my sister. She isn't feeling well today so I wanted to brighten up her day.

So, if you are longing for Spring as much as I am, just run to the store and buy yourself a pretty bunch of Tulips to hold you over until Spring actually makes it here.

I CAN RELATE TO MINNIE MOUSE

When I think of Minnie Mouse, I can't help but think about red and white polka dots. After all, she is a big fan of red and white polka dots.

I too find something so charming about that look.

It doesn't matter what you put them on, red and white polka dots makes everything look a bit more...fun!

I have dreamed about owning a set of these beauties for years and years. One day, maybe I'll get lucky.

Oh my, add a bit of 50's blue in the mix and you have a little bit of Heaven, if you ask me.

I think if I had red and white polka dot curtains I wouldn't mind doing my dish...as much.

Throw a red and white polka dot tablecloth on your table and it already seems like a party.

Now this is darling! Not only the red and white polka dots, but a rooster too! How cute.

I love vintage aprons. This one is so cute!

Look at this table. The owner recovered the chairs in red and white polka dots. I think this would be a fun place to enjoy your morning breakfast. Sure to start your day with a smile!

Or a sweet little tea pot that will make you a nice cup of tea to help you relax and sleep like a baby.

No matter what it is, put red and white polka dots on it and I'm in love.

A NEW BREED OF ANIMALS???

What in the world is this? I can't decide if it's scary or cute.

Does this animal bark or ask for a cracker? What ever it does, I say give it what it wants.

Wow! What can I say about this poor thing? Just Wow!

Boy, the other birds better watch out for this guy.

Oh, I want one of these! How cute.

Does this mean the Easter Bunny can get around faster now?

Now this would be a great guard dog. OK, maybe not. One banana and this guy would let anyone into the house.

I am not sure what this is but I think it's darling!

Do you think this bird would have fish smelling breath?

Now this is one nosey monkey.

OK, so maybe just because we see something with our own eyes, doesn't mean it's always real.

I'M HAVING A BALL!

You know, it really is the simple things in life that can make a person happy!

When I found this ball of rubber bands, I couldn't stop smiling.

Look closely and you can see that as you take the bands off the colors change. See the red peeking through?

I couldn't help but think about the movie VACATION when they were going on their road trip and one of the stops was to see the largest ball of rubber bands.

I have to say, it is nice to have all my rubber bands in a nice neat place now.

No, I didn't do this. I bought them that way. Come on though, you know you want your rubber bands in a ball now too.

MY POOR FLOWERS HAVE NO IDEA WHAT SEASON IT IS

We have had such strange weather here in So. Cal this year. My flowers don't know what to do.

I have flowers and plants from all seasons in bloom right now.

Like these beautiful Azaleas. I love the deep pink color.

My Rosemary has been allowed to flower. I think they are pretty when they do.

We will get new rosemary when Spring comes. They say you shouldn't let your herbs flower if you are planning on eating them. I think it changes the flavor.

The Geraniums are in full bloom too. It's sort of strange though because these were a deep red last year and now they came out a deep dark pink.

Even my blackberry bush is mixed up and is producing blackberries. They are much smaller then they are in the summer time though. But still very tasty.

Our Orange tree has been giving us a lot of oranges this year and it's still growing more.

This little burst of sunshine is going strong too.

I think these little bundle of flowers are pretty but boy they take over the whole yard. They grow like a weed.

Normally at this time of year they die off and produce a berry that you can't eat. Then the flowers bloom in the Spring.

Not this year. They started to die back but then just started to bloom the flowers all over again.

The Agapanthus bloom in the hot summer days. I told you things are crazy around here. It's still winter and they are already opening up.

I wonder if the summer flowers will end up blooming again this year.

Our Fall flowers are still alive too.

Another summer bloomer that is confused as to what the season is.

I have no idea what these flowers are. But, they sure are pretty and dainty.

Our Impatiens have not died off yet either. Though sometimes they will last through out the summer by producing very few blooms. This year they have a lot of flowers still on them.

Even the roses on one of our plants is blooming. The others are still sleeping waiting for the right time to wake up.

This is another kind of Geranium. It's growing and growing. Just like wild fire.

So there you have it? Does anyone know what Season it really is? If so, can you please let Mother Nature know because around here, we are all confused.
