DINNER, A MOVIE and A GIVEAWAY FOR YOU!

I'm home alone tonight and thought I would enjoy dinner in the living room while I watched a movie.

No need to skimp on making the TV tray look nice. After all, I'm worth the extra effort!

I got out a few items and set my place. It's so much nicer then just eating off my lap.

I adore these black and white salad plates. It has a sweet little bird on it.

Anyone who knows me, knows I'm a sucker for anything with birds.

I even used the darling little white bird salt and pepper shakers. We have all seen these all over blogland. They came from Target. A lot of you bloggers have written to me asking where you can get yours.

Well, it appears they are no longer being sold at Target. I am not sure if you can find them on EBay or not.

I understand a few of you have dropped one and it also broke your heart as you no longer had the set.

Who knows though, your luck could be picking up soon. You may end up getting a set. After all, those little Leprechauns are all over the place. Bringing luck to a lot of people. You could be next!

I really love the red dinner plate. It's a nice big one and has a pretty edge around it. Guess where I found these?

K-Mart! I never go to K-Mart. In fact, I can't even remember the last time I was there. But I saw these plates on another blog and had to run up to get my own set.

The red and silver flatware came from Target. I think a set of four was only $9.99. Not bad at all.

I also used a black, round place mat that I got from Kohl's 1/2 off sale. Got to love the bargains. In fact, I don't think I've ever bought a plate, napkin, tablecloth or place mat that was full price.

I figure there are to many lovely ones for 1/2 off or even less so why should I?

I really like the look of black, white and red together. Don't you? I even used two napkins. I can make a mess sometimes. One black one that is covered with a white one and then a black napkin ring that seems to go quite nicely with the salad plate.

Oh there are those little white birds, keeping me company.

OK, so enough tempting you with the little birds. Do you want a set?

You know you do. Even if you already have a set, you never know if you will be the next one who drops one to the floor.

Or, you can always use more then one set of salt and pepper shakers on your table. So, enjoy having two.

I purchased a few sets of these when I gave my friend a baby shower with a bird theme awhile ago.

I didn't use all of them so I'm going to giveaway a set to one lucky winner.

What do you have to do to win? Not much. Just leave me a post here letting me know you want to be entered. That's it!

No hoops to jump through. What? You want extra chances to win? OK, let's see. I want to make this easy for you.

So, I'm going to keep this giveaway going for 10 days. So, for an extra chance to win, just leave me another message on every post I do in the next 10 days. Yes, I am going to try to post every day. So you will have 10 chances to win if you come back daily.

For 5 extra chances you can post about this giveway on your blog and I'll add your name 5 more times, if you post here to let me know you did this.

I'll do the random number to pick the winner. No you do not have to have a blog to win. But, if you don't, you need to leave your email in your message so I can contact you or your entry won't count.
Yes, I will ship out of the country if you win.

The winner will be picked on March 22 sometime after 10:00pm my time here in CA.

Good luck, hope you win!

How nice that you treat yourself like you do. We should all do that. I love your dinnerware and of course I love the Target birds. Funny how they became so popular. I have those and a similar pair from a gift shop. Popular design!

Have a cozy weekend! :-)
