TREASURES IN THE MAIL

It's seems like in today's time with everyone practically living on computers, the mailman seems to only bring bills and junk mail any more.

I used to love getting mail. Checking each day to see if there was a card or a letter or some other fun little surprise for the day just waiting for me to open it up.

Not much of that going on these days.

Yet, every once in awhile, I'm caught off guard and I see something that stands out. That happened to me this weekend.

I quickly opened the padded envelope and found it was this darling little book made by Karla from Karla's Cottage. I had won her giveaway.

She made this and wrapped it up in vintage wall paper. Very cute.

It made me so happy. Thank you Karla.

That is so adorable and beautifully made! Thank you so much for your comment on my DDay post. I did not see Pacific, but I watched the Ken Burns WWII series on PBS a couple years ago and was just in tears through the whole thing. Amazing men and women!

Love the cottage world. It is so precious and so comforting. You do such lovely things!!!
Thanks for your kind words, they meant a lot to me. I have long forgetten that grumpy little fellow and continued on with my business. (It was 20 years ago and I still get a little miffed when I think about him, but then he did expect something different)
You are so darned cute to write such nice things. Please do come by soon. I am now a follower.
Have a grand summer!!!
