SHOPPING, SHOPPING AND MORE SHOPPING

I got to spend sometime with my sister today. We went to a movie and then shopping. I found this vintage white clay pot and jar at Goodwill. I came home and went to the garden to cut the hydrangeas to go in the pot. Then I put lots of vintage buttons in the jar.
Looks like both finds worked out just perfect!

We also went to Debra's Cottage. I talked about this cute shop before in my blog. Also, you may have seen the ad in the back of Romantic Homes magazine.
I love going here and today was even more fun because they were having a special day for Mother's Day. When we walked in we got 10 tickets to put our name on and then hunt for balloons in the booths through out the store. The balloons were attached to different items that were being raffled off. You put your ticket in the basket of the items you wanted to try for.
I think they are going to do the drawing tomorrow. I hope I win something.
I thought I would take you through the shop with me. They have some darling cottage white painted furniture.
I love this little garden potting table.
This bed is beautiful!
They even have Christie Repasy paintings for sale there! I've always wanted one of these. Her work is so pretty.

One was being offered for the raffle so maybe I will win that. I'm not counting on it though as I don't really win things. Some people are so lucky at raffles but I'm not one of them.

Don't forget to read about my give away. I would love to have lots and lots of people signed up.

Hugs,
Joanne

I am so happy that you had some fun girly time with your sister, it will really help you to take a break from all the stress you have been under with Gene being in the hospital and all! I love your Goodwill finds, aren't the cheepie ones the best? That shop looks so great and boy would I love one of Christie's paintings! I had a chance to buy one years ago, an original for cheap, stupid me I thought I needed to wait and save up some more money...sheesh! Big dummy! We need to strike while the iron is hot, never know how much time we have left, life is precious grab all you can on the way home to heaven!
Bless you,
Donna Lynn
P.S. Did you make the Sly cake yet?
