I WON! I WON!

I got a call from Debra's Cottage saying my name was pulled out from the raffle drawing they had over Mother's Day weekend and I was a winner!

I ran right down to see what I won and it was this darling little cherub statute.

I'm going to give it a coat of white spray paint and then I'm not sure what I will use it for. To hold a candle? A small bird feeder? To hold some shells or vintage buttons? Should I glue a pretty china plate on it and use it as a serving dish?

I have no idea. Do you? I would love to hear everyone's clever ideas.

Then I got this darling cupcake holder in the mail today. I won it off of eBay! I love it. But again, I think a nice spray paint of white would make it look even a bit better. How about you? Do you think I should leave dark or paint it white?

This can also be used to hold candles. I could see small clear glass votive holders in each space and all the candles lit up.

The fun thing is there are other tops that go with this. There is a pumpkin and a birthday present. So depending on the occasion you can use whatever top is best.

It can also be turned into a one, two or three tier holder.

I have lots of different cupcake holders but this by far is the best one I have.

Now I need to make some cupcakes.

Hugs to everyone,
Joanne

Congrats on the win. You could use it in so many different was, and all you mentioned seemed great.
The cupcake stand is great. I would leave it as is and use it. I like a little contrast from all the white. But that's just me. If you wanted to then you could use it to display flowers in little cups.
Tell Gene hello.

Hi Joanne,
That cupcake holder is awesome! WOW! It will look wonderful white, especially with some of your pink decorated cupcakes in it!
The cherub holder is so sweet, it too will look great white...isn't it so fun to win a blog giveaway?

That is one of the cutest cupcake
holders I have EVER seen!
I have a similar cherub that I filled with ropes of pearls and let them drape and fall over the edges.

Well, Joanne, I am the queen of painting things white, so I'm all for you painting both things white! ha ha... That's so great that you won the cherub!! I'm so happy for you!...Donna

The Cherub would look great with something green like a fern or flowering plant...or lime green succulent that cascade over the sides. Can you tell I'm in the gardening mode. Are you close to Rogers Gardens up by Fashion Island? They would have just the right thing. :))
Make the cupcakes and try them out in the holder as is. You might like it because of the contrast, like Glenda said.
It sounds like you are having fun!!

Hi Joanne!
I LOVE the cupcake holder, how cute is that? The possibilities are endless! And congrats on winning the cute cherub. The dish on top for serving is so clever, great idea Joanne.
I think white on the cupcake holder would look good too.

Congratulations on your win!!! And you said you were unlucky!!! I LOVE the cupcake rack!! I think it looks good the way it is but you would be able to use it more if it were white. Thanks for the comments on my blog. My baby was watching Lost. He likes Lost, CSI, and Greys Anatomy (we tivo it and watch them usually the next day, I don't keep him up that late!!). I'm glad your brother liked the salsa, I was worried about it the whole day. I'm so glad he's getting better!!
