MORE PINK THINGS FOR THE OFFICE AND THANK YOUS!

I'm still in the hunt and gather mode for pretty pink office things. I've been finding some cute things though so, I thought I would share some of them with you.

I have been searching and searching for a cute pink phone. I really wanted a retro one but, the ones I found, either didn't work or were not in that great of condition. So, I finally settled on this pretty new phone that has a retro feel to it. I love that it's a corded phone. That way if the electric should go out we can still talk on the phone. The cordless ones can't work without electricity.

This isn't a dial phone but the buttons are set up to look like it is.

My own Princess phone! I love it.

I also looked and looked for pink trays to hold papers and things. I couldn't find any so I took my old black ones and a can of pink spray paint. Now I have my pretty pink trays!

I found this cute little bell on eBay. I have no idea why I "needed" it. I think just so it could add to the pink rose garden look of my office.

I got this clock today in the mail. I think it's so pretty. It came all the way from Australia! It's another eBay score.

I don't know how many of you have shopped from Cute Pink Stuff at http://www.cutepinkstuff.com/store/ but, if you have not gone there I think you should. She has such pretty things.

I got some pale pink contact paper. I'm going to line the drawers of my desk with this.

I love this little pink bird door stopper. I ordered it and it's on the way to me. I can't wait to get it.
I got this pretty pink piece too. It will sit on top of my desk or I may use it in my bedroom as a door stopper. It's nice and heavy.

She also has the most pretty wrapping paper. I got two different kinds from her but, only have the photo of this one. The other one is great because it's two sided. I was lucky enough to get her last roll of that. I wish she had more.

I also ordered some darling pink coasters but I forgot to get the picture too. I don't have them yet as they are also on their way to me.

I liked the stuff I ordered so much that I quickly went back and placed a 2nd order. I have no doubts I will be back again and again to get more cute things. Lots of great gifts for the upcoming Holidays too.

The other day the mailman brought me this pretty package. It was in that pretty little flower box in the picture. I opened it up and found two vintage salt cellars and a lovely vintage hankie. There was this beautiful hand made card inside too.

These sweet little gifts came from Debbie at Garage Sale Gal.

THANK YOU Debbie! You made my day!!!

If you have not been to Debbie's blog please go stop by and say hi http://garagesalegal.blogspot.com/ and tell her Joanne sent you. I'm sure she will pleased to meet you.

I hope you all enjoyed seeing my new things. I'm hoping to have the office finished soon. I'm still looking for a nice pink hooked rug that doesn't set me back an arm and leg. If you see any, please let me know.

Hugs,
Joanne

Hi There!!
Thanks for the lovely comments on the bedroom re-paint, this is the third color the room has been in three years, finally I really love it now!! I am a shabby chic girl from the top of my head to the bottom of my shoes, and find I am happiest with pinks surrounding me! The ceiling is not messy to paint, the Ralph Lauren paint is truly worth it't weight in gold, it covers in one coat! Not a lot of paints do that, I will email you pictures of my special paint rollers I use, the pan, the cut in brush and my techniques, then you can paint any room with confidence and no taping off ever again!!!

I love you pink bird doorstop, all of the finds are lovely, but that is just wonderful! Thanks for all you sweet money saving ideas, I am trying to stay out of stores and not let myself stray in the grocery store either! Hard Job that one...:)
Call me this week when you get a moment, OK, a couple hours!!! HA! and lets catch up on all the news, want to hear about you and Debbie, and I will update you on my fam.

XO,
Sister Donna Lynn of the shabby chicness (that sounds very Catholic huh, TEE HEE!)

Hi Joanne!
You have found some awesome things for your pink office! It's going to be fabulous Joanne! I can't wait to see it when it all comes together.
I'm feeling a little better. Thanks for asking. I think it is side effects from Lipitor. Horrible leg muscle pain. I've stopped taking it but it will be awhile before it gets out of my system and the muscles repair. I'm going to my 41 yr class reunion this weekend in Toledo and hope I can walk normal so people don't think I'm OLD!! LOL
Have a great weekend!
Hugs, Sherry

Hi Joanne,
When I was a teenager, my aunt surprised me with a phone just like that in light blue. I loved it. Your office is going to look amazing, you can call it "The Pink Palace". That clock is oh so tres chic.
