DREAMING OF FALL

I know they say we shouldn't wish for days ahead because then we just wish our life away. But, I'm tired of the hot and humid days of summer.

I'm dreaming of the cool, crisp Fall days ahead. I thought you may like to join in my daydream by looking at these pretty fall pictures.

Enjoy!
Joanne

I'm ready for cooler weather too! At least it's a lot cooler today that it was yesterday here!

I really want the rain to come! I love the rain!

I laughed when I read "hot and humid" because our worst humid day in California is nothing compared to back east but I always complain when it feels the slightest bit humid here!

Wonderful pictures. We have a short fall season here. No leaves that drop from trees. I really miss that crunch under my feet. Thanks for the beauty.

I'm there with you. I'm tired of the heat too. I'm ready for cool days and nights and comfort food and curling up with my afghan. I'm so glad you enjoyed the new site I recommended. I haven't had time to explore much either. Hopefully this weekend. I think her work is totally amazing.

We have had such a drought through the month of July and now June. The first rain for this month came day before yesterday. Because of the lack of rain so many of our trees are turning yellow and brown. I am thinking that the only pretty fall colors I will see this year will be in pictures.

Even though we haven't had rain, we have had some rather cool weather, which I am loving.

Hi there Sis!
I too have been thinking about fall, we have got that smell in the air here now and it has gotten cooler too! FALL is coming...

Love your cool montage of fall pictures, it really makes me want to drag out all my Funkins (those great fake pumpkins), and decorate my front porch. I went out to my woodshop tonight and made three benchs for my porch, I will post pictures of them soon all painted glossy black with pumpkins on them! I got really inspired after looking at Victoria's blog makeover too, she did a great job on it!

We are going to Hannah's parents house tomorrow to wrap the trees with twinkle lights, hang lanterns etc. Will be taking over the wedding arbor Don and Diana Lyn's hubby welded up for the kids to get married under too. I will try and post lots of weddding pictures next week.

Call me if you can this week, I will be home making lasgana for 25 on Wed. for the rehersal dinner on Thursday night...I have a head set and can talk while I cook! Now that is multi tasking don't ya think???

XO,
Donna Lynn

I am playing catch up this morning.

The blue room is looking very charming. I like that quilt!

Joanne, I like what you did with the buttons. I have a friend that collects them. I will pass along your ideas for display.

I am ready for cooler weather too. We have to wait a long time for it to cool down here.

Have a great weekend.

Oh my gosh, Joanne - that is GORGEOUS!!! It looks like my neck of the woods will look in the near future... Okay, I may not be ready for winter (I hate the long, cold, snowy New England winters), but I will take a huge helping of autumn (and then skip right to spring!!)...Donna
