COTTAGE OFFICE SUPPLIES

Yesterday I opened my door, after the mailman had come, and found several boxes sitting there waiting for me. My eyes popped open and I quickly took the boxes inside and began to open them. It was like I was a kid at Christmas!

Here is what I got: I've been gathering things for my office makeover. I just love all these pretty pink cottage office supplies.
This sign is PERFECT! I can't wait to hang it up. Don't you think it's darling?
This little pink container is going to hold rubber bands. The pink is such a soft romantic color.
There is this sweet light switch plate cover. The lovely roses will be the first peek at what will await you as you walk in.
I couldn't pass up this hand painted stapler. I've never seen anything like it before and it was love at first sight.

I also got these cute little pictures to hang or prop up.
This little cherub on a bike with tires made out of roses is just to cute for words.
This dainty basket of roses with a ribbon hanger is just waiting for me to find the right place to display it.

I'm almost done gathering things and I am about ready to take the desk outside and paint it as well as putting some beautiful appliques on it.

Then I will pull the whole office together and show you all the before and after pictures. I think you will be surprised at how different it will look.

Hugs to all of you!

Joanne

Hi Joanne!
Your Cottage Office is going to be so fabulous!! I can hardly wait to see what you do. That sign is just adorable, well everything is! Looks like you had a great 4th! It poured here all day till late afternoon, cleared for fireworks then started raining again. But that's ok, my brother is coming this coming weekend for a couple days and I don't have to work at all so I'll be doin' the happy dance!! Have a great week!
Hugs, Sherry

It looks like your off to a great start. Don't forget to put inspiring fabric, and textures around you. Are you going to have a room all to yourself. I always wanted a pink room, with a white table/desk, with an overstuffed french chair, with fabrics and lace curtians on the windows. A white chandelier hanging over the desk, with beautiful paintings. A hardwood floor with a beautiful area rug. INSPIRATION !!!!

Ok, I am done.

Ciao
Glenda

I just have to pipe up and say that although the explosion of roses is not my style I am stunned by how you turn up the volume to 11 and beyond. That's some Extreme pinkness. And rose-ness. When I got to the hand-painted stapler, all I could think was, "OMG, You are so punk rock."

I read your comment on Strider's blog and thought I'd come and visit. I think we may be kindred spirits!! What a delightful blog you have. I LOVE the stapler. I especially love hand-painted pink roses on things! I have lots of them in my home too, scattered throughout!

I wanted to thank you for the post you left on Strider's blog. It was a real encouragement to me in dealing with anxiety and worry! I also truly believe that God allows things and will see us through. If it happens, He's not up in heaven pulling out his hair and saying, "Oh NO!!" He has it ALL under control. Thanks for your words of wisdom!
