Candy corn! Just the thought of candy corn makes me conjure up visions of Halloween. As soon as I see those three little colors of candy popping up in the stores, I know it's Halloween time.
There is so much fun you can have with candy corn. In fact, you can have a whole party around the idea of candy corn.
After searching the web, I found so many wonderful ideas. I wanted to share them with you.
I think one of the most simple ways to enjoy candy corn is to use it in decorating. A quick and easy way is to pour some candy corn into a large container and add a candle.
To make it a bit more fancy, add flowers and have the vase be full of candy corn.
How about painting some pots to look like candy corn. Use these for your plants outside on your porch or you could put a bowl in here and use it to serve food.
Glue candy corn to Styrofoam balls and put them in urns. This is a lovely way to bring the bright colors and surgery smell of candy corn to any part of your home.
How about a candy corn tree? Glue some candy corn to a branch and tuck into an urn full of candy corn.
A candy corn wreath would be cute inside or on your door to greet your guest.
I adore these idea. String some candy corn and make a garland for your fireplace.
To bring the candy corn fun to your table, just use candy corn as a table runner.
Make your pompoms look like candy corn too.
You can make all sorts of yummy treats with using the candy corn theme. Here you see candy corn moon pies.
Candy corn sugar cookies sound pretty good to me. How about you?
Wonderful candy corn cupcakes would bring fun to any party.
Now who wouldn't have a big smile on their face as you served up candy corn jello?
Cute candy corn favors with a little tag that says they are rotten pumpkin teeth, will send your guests home laughing.
But why stop with food and decorations? You can even turn candy corn into jewelry. Well, OK, this may be going to far for some of you.
No matter what you decide to do with candy corn, I still think the best thing to do with it is to eat it.

CANDY CORN ACRES
However, we did have to stop when we passed by the sign that said Candy Corn Acres.
After all, who doesn't love Candy Corn? Did you ever know where it came from? Did you know that it's actually a vegetable?
I always thought Candy Corn was made in a factory like other candy. So I was very surprised to see that it actually can be planted and it will grow.
You don't believe me? Well, come and take a look. You are going to be shocked. We sure were.
Here it is growing like carrots. With big green tops that have to be pulled off. Just like carrots.
Here is Candy Corn growing in clusters on ivy just like grapes. Yum!
Now this wasn't as shocking as the other ways Candy Corn grows. After all, it is called Candy Corn, so seeing on grow on stalks makes sense to me.
Candy Corn stalks are much prettier then corn stalks. Don't you agree?
Here are really big Candy Corns growing like pumpkins. They look ripe and ready to me.
Candy Corn on cactus too? Well that just is plain odd.
I can see it now. Kids all over the world thinking they have been good because they "only ate one piece of candy corn".
Well look at this, Candy Corn also grows like tomatoes. They need to be propped up with cages just like you do with tomatoes.
Leave it to the people at Disney to make something we all thought was nothing more then sugar and color and turn it into a nice, fresh, healthy vegetable.
I bet a lot more kids would eat their veggies if it looks and taste like Candy Corn.
