THE REST OF THE FAIR

This post is going to show you my favorite part of the Orange County Fair this year.

They had an Ice Museum for the first time this year. You were given a heavy coat to wear because this museum is cold. It's very cold. It's only 20 degrees inside.

Come on in and see what beautiful pieces of art can be made from ice.

So what did you think? Pretty amazing huh?

These photos sure are not as pretty as what everything looked like inside. Even the walls were made of ice.

It felt like a Winter Wonderland inside.

Now, we are off to my top favorite spot of the whole fair. Come on, don't lag behind.

The place I loved most was over at the pig pens. I thought this little pig family looked so sweet. Everyone was super tired from entertaining everyone all day.

It's hard to be looked at all day.

Aren't these little ones the cutest things! I wanted to take them home with me.

Doesn't mama look like she has a smile? I think she is really happy to be a mommy.

Now this mama pig just seemed down right pooped. Her little ones were running all over. She couldn't get a moments peace.

They were really fast too. Running all over and playing with each other. They were so sweet.

Mama kept trying to move but they would run over and bug her and not leave her alone.

Oh, maybe they were just hungry. But, it wasn't feeding time and there was no way they were going to get mama to turn over and feed them.

This was the black sheep in the family.

Several little chicks were on display. Some you could even pet. But there were workers around making sure no one held them or little ones pet to hard.

Yes, I wanted to take one of these home too.

Look at the horns on this pretty lady. She is part of the cow family. Her little baby was so well behaved and just waiting for her mommy to wake up.

This beauty kept batting her eyes with those long lashes. She knew she was being photographed and loved every minute of it.

I fell in love with this guy. He was hiding in the barn away from everyone. I wonder if he felt out of place next to the long lashed lovely above.

I thought he was darling with his unbrushed hair, weeping eyes and under bite.

I guess it's true when they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder because I really found him beautiful.

Well there you have it. You have now been through the whole fair. Hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.

That ice show was amazing!!! And the pigs are so cute. Love the other animal pictures too. It is interesting that your fair is in the summer. Where I live here in NC, fall is the time for all our fairs. Glad you had a wonderful day. Love & blessings from NC!
