I'VE NEVER SEEN THIS BEFORE ~ HAVE YOU?

I was standing in line, waiting to check out, at Target and I spotted this magazine. I had never seen it before but knew, just by looking at the cover, it would be something I was interested in.

So, in my cart it went. I am so happy it did too!

It's by Better Homes and Gardens and is called Food Gifts.

It's perfect for the holidays. Although it's great for all year really.

Like this great tip on how to set up a cookie platter. I didn't even know there was a way a cookie platter should be set up.

I love the different ways they show on how to present your food gifts. Some of the ideas are super cute and clever.

They show you the items you will need for your package.

Things like a Pringles can. Who would have thought?

With a little effort that Pringle can turns into the perfect container for candy coated pretzels.

Not only is the container darling, it also helps to keep the pretzels from breaking and it keeps them fresh.

Every page has wonderful ideas for food gifts.

I've never made homemade marshmallows before, but, I may this year.

I already knew I wanted to give several different "gifts from the kitchen" this Christmas. This magazine has given me so many more ideas then I could have ever dreamed up.

If you bake, cookie or give any type of food items for gifts, you may want to get this magazine too.

I love finding new and exciting magazines. Don't you?

You might also like the magazine that Gooseberry Patch has out for the holidays. It has some pretty cool gift ideas, also.

I saw the magazine too, but was in hurry and did not look at it. I will certainly go back and pick up a copy. I love to give food gifts and that magazine looks like it has some great recipes and ideas. My daughter made homemade marshmallows one year and said that they were like nothing you had ever eaten from the store. She loved them in her hot chocolate. Thanks for sharing. I will certainly go get a copy. Love & blessings from NC!

I purchased this magazine for my daughter-in-love who loves to bake and give away her treats. Before I gave it to her, I had to browse through it. The red velvet whoopie pies with peppermint filling caught me eye. Made a copy of the recipe and hope to make it for Christmas!
Wonderful find!

Don't have that, but just bought a little cook book with gifts to make.
Skip the marshmallow. Lots of work, and I didn't feel they were worth it!

It looks like a really nice magazine full of good ideas. I hope the price wasn't as high as some special holiday edition magazines I've seen recently.
