A VINTAGE FASHION EXPO

I just got an email, from the Victorian Tea Society that I belong to, letting me know they are planning an outing on April 25th and 26th to Santa Monica for a Vintage Fashion Expo.

Here, several vendors get together, like a flea market, only they sell vintage clothing.

This is the largest Vintage Fashion Expo around. You will find fashion from 1850 ~ 1980.

Top Hollywood Costume Designers are known for shopping for up coming movies and TV shows here.

You can find just about any type of vintage wardrobe here. From casual dress, formals, sleepwear and bathing suits.

Like these wonderful vintage Esther Williams bathing suits that have never been worn in the water.

Many big stars shop at this Expo. In the past stars such as Mimi Rogers, Kate Moss, Keanu Reeves, Barbara Streisand, David Arquette, Jane Seymore and Lisa Bonet as well as many others have purchased items here.

Who knows who you may see. Vintage attire has become very popular with a lot of the younger stars.

You can purchase sunglasses to make you look like the newest Hollywood starlet.

Or how about a lovely new dress to wear to a night out on the town.

The 50's had great style if you ask me. Everyone always had shoes that matched their purse and of course they had to have a hat to pull the whole outfit together.

Look at these beauties from the 1930's. Can't you just picture the lady who wore these? Such poise and glamour.

Look ladies, you can even get vintage tiaras! You know you want one.

So, if you have some time on April 25th and 26th and are in the Santa Monica, CA area I hope you will stop by The Vintage Fashion Expo and take a walk down memory lane. Maybe we could meet up and say hi.

For my Northern CA gals, don't feel left out. In fact, The Vintage Fashion Expo is going to be in San Francisco, CA on March 21st and 22nd. So you could even go first!

If you want any more info you can go to the web site for all the information by clicking here.
I think it looks like it's going to be a fun trip. Even if you don't buy anything you could have fun playing dress up or just looking at all the great outfits.
