I was trying to upload photos for my next post and I got a message saying I had used all my storage with blogger. If I want to upload any more photos I have to pay for more storage.
Has this happened to any of you? If so, did you pay to keep your blog?
I'm wondering if my blogging days are going to be over. I don't want to pay for more space and I don't want to start all over with a new blog. I would lose all my followers and all my favorites and that would make me to sad.
I feel so sad right now.

I have not heard of this...this sounds crazy! I will be checking back with you to see what others have to say about this. I wish you luck:)
Blessings,
Linda
I think I remember Cindy @My Romantic Home saying something about that a long time ago but I can't remember if it was on Blogger or Flicker.... I think it was Blogger though. This is probably an issue that many of us will be having that started blogging around the same time. Yikes! If I remember correctly you may have to eliminate some of your past posts but dont take that as gospel, again I'm not sure.
Will be anxious to see the real answer to this dilema.
Hugs, Sherry
Really?? I didn't know you could run out of space! I'll be anxious to find out too.

I think the problem is reaching capacity on Picasa.
I've never heard of such a thing! My only suggestion would be to go back to your very earliest posts and delete photos from them. Unfortunately, that leaves a blank space, but you would hope people had read those already.
I have to say I'm surprised, though. I have over 600 posts and plenty of photos. If they pull this on me, I'll just blog elsewhere!
Do you use picasa with blogger? If so, go onto the picasa web on your account and go to the verrrry beginning. CHeck for duplicates, delete those. It is time consuming, but it may be worth it to keep your blog the way it is. I found TONS of duplicates in my account and I have no idea how that happened, but it did.
I think from memory that if you use picasa you have a certain amount of memory but to get around this you start another folder under your name. You could try that.
I haven't heard of this before. Might be a new thing. But I would have to contact Blogger first. If it's a free blog, I would think they would have figured that no one would pay for extra storage.
I can only suggest contacting them to see what's up.
Ciao
