Today I came home after a long day at the hospital with Gene. I was tired and a bit cranky. I get that way when I have to get up early.But when I walked in my sister, Patty, told me there was a package that came for me. I quickly perked right up and went into the dinning room so I could rip the package open. No, I'm not one of those people who slowly and carefully opens a package. I'm more like a little kid that tears right into it!
I was thrilled when I saw it was from Shay at Uniquely Yours. I had won her give away of this great book called Child of Wonder by Ginger Carlson.
She also sent a nice little note and her business card.

I've decided I'm going to start a new blog dedicated to my brother Gene and his journey to recover from his stroke. So, I'm going to be working on that blog the next few days. Which means I won't be back here until Friday the 13th, at which point I will be posting the WINNER of MY GIVE AWAY!

Joanne, hubs does the roses/gardening in this family if we wantanything to grow!! I don't have anything CLOSE to a green thumb! You can do a great laundry room, honey. Just look at it and get going. That's what I did. Also, I'll post pix of our backyard soon. We're trying to get it inhabitable! This house is less than 3 years old and we're still working on the backyard. Put in 2 trellis this week. Long way to go there, my sweet cherub!! Long for more pix in a day or so.....maybe even today if I get tired of making another little clothespin bag! HAH
