I've lost my voice! Yes, that's right. No talking for me right now. Well, I can try but nothing comes out but squeaks and funny noises.
I hate laryngitis. People can say whatever they want to you and you can't really say anything back.
Guess it's a good lesson in keeping ones opinions to them self.
So I will just gargle with salt water and remain quiet.
Oh it's going to be a long day!
Take care of yourself! Get well for Debra's Cottage Open House. Maybe we can meet there.
ReplyDeleteHope you get well soon! Take care of yourself, watch old movies and drink hot tea. It helps!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Lorri
I love the sexy voice that comes from it. I heard you can actually catch laryngitis the same as a cold. Careful that's all it is. I once had it and it turned into a throat infection. Oh, aren't I a positive one.
ReplyDeleteNever mind.
At least you can type still! lol Get well soon!
ReplyDeleteHi Joanne
ReplyDeleteMy daughter has been terribly sick with the flu for a week, so I know how you feel. I hope you are feeling better soon! Rest, lots of liquids and don't strain your voice by trying toi talk.
Hugs, Pat
Ugh... I just got over that, Joanne... Mine came along with the cold of the year... I'm JUST now starting to get over it and it's been 2 weeks.. The laryngitis was kind of funny - it was the worst in the morning... Little croaks and squeaks were all I could get out... Donna @ An Enchanted Cottage
ReplyDeleteI used to get laryngitis every winter for several weeks. Not good for a teacher!
ReplyDeleteWell goodness! Get well soon...a woman without a voice just isn't right!
ReplyDeleteI just adore your lil' spot here. I'm so happy you came by for a visit. A funny thing...I went to bed after pecking (my typing skills are a little rough) out my rough draft. I pushed "SAVE" so I thought... until the next morning, when I went to edit...and found I had actually posted it,YIKES! It's okay now. You just have to laugh.
ReplyDeleteMy family enjoyed my speechless days. Which isn't a common occurrence.
Come by again now that my editor has stamped her approval LOL!
Sweet Wishes,
Sara
Hi Joanne, I hope you get your voice back real soon. Rest your voice, drink hot drinks and suck on hard candy. It all helps. Take care.
ReplyDeleteHope it resolves itself soon. Mine has just started going in and out. I have switchboard duty on Thursday and that won't be good. Take care of you. xxoo
