I went to my friends house for a luncheon today. She always has a theme and this time it was Lady Bugs.
As always, she decorated the table so cute. Lady bugs were all around.
I love how she took material from the craft store and used her pinking shears on it. Super quick, easy and darling tablecloth/runner.
The lady bug plates were so cute and were her inspiration for the whole theme. The black plates came from the dollar store. Way to be thrifty and cute.
She used the dessert (cupcakes) as her centerpiece. Great way to save money and pull the theme in.
She used a flower cookie cutter for sandwiches and added a little lady bugs on some of them. Very, very cute!
She even used lady bug ribbon and a lady bug button as her napkin rings. Isn't that flower on plate darling too! Do you have any idea what it is?
Here, take a closer look. Any guesses?
It actually unwraps and becomes a reusable bag. Then when you are not using it, it folds back up and forms the flower again. I've never seen anything like this before. I love it.
The flower/bags were our favors and we also got these cute little note pads with a lady bug on it and a package of tissue with lady bugs.
She even had the bakery pipe lady bugs on the cupcakes!
This is my friend Sandra. She not only had a cute tablescape but she also wore a darling apron with lady bugs on it. She thinks of everything.
We all had a great time and once again I was reminded at how blessed I am to have such a great friend!
I'm linking up todays post to Tablescape Thursday over at Between Naps on the Porch. If you have not yet stopped by there, please do so. You are sure to enjoy all the lovely tablescapes.
That's adorable! Do you know where she got the Ladybug ceramic plates!
