I found a few that seemed to be pretty interesting. What do you think?
I love the idea of the pumpkins and a black ribbon. Simple, easy to make and great for both Halloween time and Fall.
This one looks super creepy to me. I'm not sure I would want to look at this on my front door every time I wanted to go inside. I may have nightmares.
However, it would be great for Halloween.
This one is cool. But I may be tempted to grab a piece of candy off every time I was near the front door.
This one is cute if the theme you are going for is Vintage Halloween. Again, simple to make. Just copy old post card images off the Internet, glue them on card stalk or thin cardboard and then glue it on a wreath.
This one is simple. Black roses. Yet, what a great effect!

I think this one would easy to make with items you could find at the dollar store.
This one would be great if you did a grave yard out your front door.
Oh another candy one to tempt your sweet tooth. This one looks like it would be better inside. I think it's made of wrapped chocolate candy. YUM!

I love the mini pumpkins! I have a simple twig wreath with a moss covered wooden initial in the middle, plain and almost ruined, the birds have used half the moss for their nests :)
ReplyDeleteHi Joanne!
ReplyDeleteMy fav is the last one with the tied strips of fabric. I like that you can use it through all the fall festivities. You could pin in some fun Halloween things then swap them out for some plain pumpkins or fall leaves for Thanksgiving.
Big hugs, Sherry
Thanks for sharing, those are all very neat. I love looking at wreaths too! The first and the last are my favorites!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!!
ReplyDeleteThe candy ones are out - dieting.
The ones that take too long to make - also out.
Creepy - out, too! No nightmares for me!!
Paper and Cardboard - out - not sturdy for an outside door.
The typically "Halloween-ish" ones - not my style!!
OK...the ones I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!?!?
The Black Roses - and - the Pumpkins and Black Ribbons. Very pretty and yet different!!!
:-)
Ooooh, booooooo, those are scary, sugar. Well, some of them. I'd take the candy one for sure. Can't pass that one up.

I love the skulls with the gauze and the multi-fabric rag wreaths! Halloween is my favorite holiday and it really was hard but I am sticking to my original two!
ReplyDeleteHmmmmm, I think my favorites are the mini pumpkins and the black roses. They seem to be popular with everyone, but they are both quite "classy" and simple. I currently have a wreath of fall flowers, leaves and pheasant feathers (silk ones, not real) at my front entryway. I will leave this up throughout Autumn and Thanksgiving - until it's time to bring out the Christmas decorations. Thanks for sharing such a wide variety of wreath ideas!
ReplyDeleteHello! I just found you and I love this post! I particularly like the Halloween post card wreath and the fabric strip wreath - the most colorful, and least scary ones! I think I'd like the pumpkin one more as a fall or Thanksgiving wreath, using a chocolate satin ribbon or a more colorful ribbon/bow (candy corn ribbon anyone?) Do you have the sources for these wreaths? I can't really make out what the second one (the one with the spiders) is made of - not the base, the stuff that the spiders are sitting on. Same with the base of the post card one - I just can't figure out what was used in either one!
