A REFRESHING WAY TO COOL OFF

It's warm here today. We have been having such nice cool weather but the heat is on it's way. I fear it's only get hotter and hotter each day now.

I wanted something to help cool me off. Something that would be good to the taste buds, not to fattening, and yet refreshing.

So, I made some pudding and used my fresh picked blackberries to add a bit of kick to it.

I have to admit, there is nothing sweeter and juicier then home grown blackberries. Plus, they are so good for you.

I put my afternoon snack in my pretty pink depression glass champagne glass that I got for a quarter at the rummage sale. Placed it on top of a 100 year old plate just to make it look pretty. Got out the lace napkins and I was set.

Sitting down to enjoy this was so nice. It was like a mini vacation.

But, now that I'm finished with it... I'm hot again.
