IT'S THAT TIME OF YEAR

Time to put away the Halloween items and start to think about Christmas.

Yes I know I'm skipping right over Thanksgiving. I'll put a few decorations up for Thanksgiving. A turkey here and a pilgrim there but my mind is already thinking of Santa, Snowmen, Glitter and lights.

It's raining here today. Finally! So I'm in a stay at home, snuggle up or bake cookies mood.

Hope you have a wonderful Sunday and Sugar Plum Dreams tonight.

Hugs,
Joanne

  5. I put my Halloween things away today and brought out the few Thanksgiving things I have. I wanted to switch out my china cabinet this weekend and put my Christmas dishes in there, but didn't get to it. I love this time of year and all of this fun decorating! I can't wait to see what you'll be posting during these next few weeks. You always come up with the greatest posts!!

  7. Hi Joanne
Just catching up with your blog. We have been away for a few days.
I hope November do not goes as quick as October did. I have lots to fit in this month. Have you started your Christmas shopping yet? I got a few things last week when we were in London. I am usually last minute with everything. I need to be more organised!

  8. Thanksgiving is a big day for me so I do decorate for it.
This year we will be spending time in Denver for Christmas so I won't be decorating that much for it unless I help my son do it at his house. My husband won't miss taking down all the heavy boxes of decoartions from our attic! LOL!!!
I can't wait to see how you decorate, Joanne -- you have a such a good touch.
    Hugs, Pat

  9. I'm with you, Joanne... I don't do a lot of Thanksgiving decorating at all... I put out a Thanksgiving flag to replace the Halloween one and that's about it... November is the calm before the storm for me. I've never been able to get a hand on Christmas minimalism! I'm going to rest up so I'll be ready to start decorating in a month!...Donna
