You weren't thinking when I said I was "blue" I meant sad, did you? No, no, no! I meant I felt like setting the table with blue and eating something with blueberries.
I wish I had a wonderful recipe for you but I don't. I just used one of the mixes that I got from TJ Maxx and I doctored it up with fresh blueberries, used milk rather then the water it called for and sprinkled sugar on the top for a little extra crunch and sweetness.
To top them off I used some wonderful blueberry jam from Harry and Davids. I think just about everything from Harry and Davids is wonderful!
Well I guess my scones are (as Sandra Lee would say) semi-homemade. What is that she says "70% store bought and 30% fresh ingredients"? Something like that. It really works. Makes everything much better tasting and is oh so easy.
Hugs,
Joanne

Yummy! I love that Sandra Lee show! You must be getting VERY excited for your cruise! Have a wonderful weekend! Blessings, Victoria Lynn
ReplyDeleteYummy !
ReplyDeleteI've gotten those mixes and they tasted awful. Maybe it was because of the water instead of the milk. You being the baker you are, know the tricks.
I bought some Lemon poppyseed scones the other day at Trader Joe's and their yummy.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend.
