Well there has been a lot of talk about Autumn/Fall here in Blogland. So I thought it would be fun to do a Autumn/Fall giveaway.
I found this cute little tea pot and cup for one. I thought it was perfect for those cool Autumn/Fall day and nights. You can really see the detail in this next picture. The lid has a sweet little silver leaf on top. The tea pot holds just enough for one. The pot and cup have embossed leaves and acorns. The handle looks like the branch of a tree.
Even if you don't drink tea this would make a great Autumn/Fall decoration.
So if you are interested in winning this just leave me a message (on THIS post only) and tell me what you love most about Autumn/Fall and you will be entered to win. If you want a 2nd chance to win, just post about this giveaway on your blog with a link back to here. Let me know and I will add your name a 2nd time.
I will be leaving this open until Sept 22nd to give everyone a chance to enter.
Good luck!
Hugs,
Joanne
I love the crispness of the air and the change in colors of the leaves and I love the feeling of renewal that fall brings with it.

Count me in. What I love most about Fall is getting out all of the pretty hand knit sweaters (some made for me by my mother) that have been spending their summer vacation on a high shelf. It's like meeting up with old friends again. And it's always a joy when they still fit!
ReplyDeleteOh, Joanne, I'd LOVE to win a TeaPot and Cup!!! I'm the QUEEN of Tea Partiness!!!
ReplyDeleteFall...well, my favorite thing about fall is that Tom and I ALWAYS get to go on a get-away. In the past, it's been to Door County, Wisconsin...my absolute favorite get-away place. But, this year, we will be doing something different...and going somewhere different. We're going on an Antiquing trip...up north in Michigan...sometime this fall.
~Blessings,
Jan
Oh, you know I would like to be entered. I just mostly love the cool, crisp air instead of the hot, sometimes humid air....I told someone that when we start getting those cooler/crisp days I feel like a frisky dog.....lol. I also like that fall/autumn brings a lot of craft shows to the area and I do like wearing sweatshirts. Okay, you only asked for one thing and I gave you several...sorry, got going there....
ReplyDeleteI love fall for the relief it gives from the heat of summer. I love the fall decorations and taking tours of the leaves changing and the crispness in the air.

ReplyDeleteHi Joanne, what I love the most is the cooling of the weather. It is so hot and humid in the summer here in Florida, especially today was awful! The humidity was unbearable and it literally felt like walking into an oven everytime I went outside today. I can't wait for the fall days ahead with the crisp air and all the pretty trees changing colors. It is my favorite time of the year.

What a darling tea pot. I am a tea drinker~no coffee. Living in Arizona fall is when it actually gets cold enough that I can drink the tea.
ReplyDeleteAs a child I grew up in a farming community so seeing all the workers harvesting and the first smell of someone's fireplace being lit.
Oh, how I love tea, and autumn is one of my favorite seasons - the other being spring. What I love about autumn is the beautiful splashes of reds, oranges, yellows and browns against the dark green backdrop of the evergreens. It is also a time to go back to comfort food - you know, the kind our grandmothers cooked on a big old cookstove.
ReplyDeleteThe teapot is darling. Another thing I love is acorns.
Thank you for your generous gesture of giving away this adorable teapot.
Blessings,
Mary

Hello Joanne.
ReplyDeleteI have always loved the end of summer when the nights draw in and the smell of autumn is in the air.
It makes me feel as if we are really alive and to get ready for the long winter.
The leaves begin to turn and we wrap up warm, the homeliness of fires and family.
Walks in deep woods and red cheeks Cold clear skies, being together. Knowing the year is coming to an end.
Getting the house cosy.
Candles and quiet long nights.
I love this time of year the most.
Debbie
I love the teapot. What do I love about fall? Sweater weather. Mornings that are cold enough for a sweater. Afternoons that have you tie the sweater around your waist on a walk. Cool nights where you are happy you have a sweater around your waist to put on your arms again.
ReplyDeleteWhat a CUTE teapot!!! I love the leaves on it!!!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite part of Fall is the the changing colors of the leaves and the fact that the summer heat is gone!! When I was teaching, my favorite part was getting back to school!!
Great giveaway!!
Thanks so much!

Autumn reminds me that change is imminent - don't know what Winter bring. changes and challenges. The cycle of life, as one becomes another.Summer will be a memory, the Winter, an illusion.
ReplyDeleteI love everything about fall. I am one of those people that feels at home surrounded by the earth tones of fall. Fall has a special scent of the dried leaves as they float to the ground. I really don't think a lot of people pay much attention to that scent. When I mention it to others, they take a deep breath and the response on their faces tell the story that it is the first time they have taken the time required to notice something that is unique to fall.

My favorite thing about the Fall Season are the smells... campfires 'n burgers on the grill... the earthy-dirt in the early evenings as the guys dig for worms to go fishing in the morning... pumpkin pies baking in the oven... apples 'n red hots as a big pot of applesauce simmers on the stove... It's all good, and there is nothing like the cool, crisp air on a sunny Fall day!

The changing of the colors. There is such an array of awesome colors and on the cool, dewy mornings everything takes on such sparkle. Did you take the photo of the trees reflecting in the water? That is so beautiful and sums up fall to me.
ReplyDeleteHelen G.
Hi Joanne :)
ReplyDeleteI know the giveaway is over, but I just had to tell you how pretty the teapot is. I've never seen a teapot that was a chocolate-y brown before. How unusual and pretty!
