26 DAYS AND COUNTING

Well now that it's Sept all I can think about it going on my cruise on the 28th!

This is the 2nd year that I've taken a cruise in Sept. I think I'm going to have make this a yearly thing.

Last year I went to Alaska on Holland America, but not this year.

This year I'm going on Royal Caribbean's Vision of The Sea and going to the Mexican Riviera!

I'm going to be going with a very good friend, Judy. She will be flying in the night before and spending the night with me and then in the morning we head off to Los Angeles and get on board for a week of fun, fun, fun!

Look at how pretty this ship is going to be. I can't wait to get to see everything in person.

To eat all the wonderful food in this room...

One place you won't find me is up on the Rock Climbing Wall. I will watch others but that's about it! To scary for me.

I'm not sure about what day trips we are going to take. I do know one will be horseback riding. We will get to ride at the beach and then have a nice lunch before heading back.

We may rent jet skis, swim with the dolphins, take a city tour, shop, take a cooking class or whatever we feel like doing.

No matter if we just sat in our cabin I know we will have a blast! We always do when we get together.

Judy got married and moved out of state so we don't get to see each other very often. But when we do it's as if she never left.

We were set to go on this cruise in May. That's when my brother had his stroke and her sister was in the hospital with cancer. We both felt we couldn't go on a cruise at a time like that. So we postponed it. I can't believe now it's almost time to go.

Hugs,
Joanne

  3. OOOOH! You're going to have fun! I've always wanted to go on a cruise. We were going to cruise Hawaii but had to postpone that. It was actually a better deal than staying in a hotel because you could visit different islands and food was included. I'm still going to do that someday. You know how I love Hawaii!

  5. You are so lucky to have a cruise countdown. What a wonderful time you'll have and with a good friend too. We went on an Eastern Caribbean cruise with 5 other close couples in March on the Emerald Princess. It was the first cruise for the love bunny and me and it was incredible.

I can't wait to see your pictures in person too. Those ships are so outrageously lovely and big.

Its fun waiting and planning though it can be hard to wait too.

Have a lovely day...tomorrow is another day closer. :o)

How Super Fun. I've never been on a cruise and probably won't..husband has NO desire to go. So, you have the fun for me and be sure to swim with the dolphins, because I would do that, FOR SURE... and maybe give them a little kiss..
    Take care..Hugs

  7. You lucky dogs you. I haven't been on any cruises. I've always wanted to go on one to Alaska.

I tried to convince my sister to go, but she doesn't want to. Oh, well.

Your PIF is on it's way, I thought Mr. Gustav would blow it your way, but he went north.

  16. You are going to have a ball, and how nice to have a dear friend to go with you! You never told me you went to Alaska, that must of been really something for a Southern California gal to see up close!

Loved your pink pumpkins, the glitter ones were my favorite, I may have to try that!

Hope your having a lovely week so far, we are having great weather here, and I am so happy thinking it will be beautiful for the wedding!
Hope to talk to you soon...
