I'M DREAMING OF A PINK CHRISTMAS

I don't think one can ever start to shop for Christmas to early. Do you?

Well when I decided to do my office in pink I just knew I was going to want to decorate it at Christmas too. After all, what's better then Pink and Christmas together? I found this darling little pink snowman on eBay. He has lots of sparkle to him that doesn't show up in this photo. I love the little pink scarf he has on and the pink roses.

You can click on the photo to get a better look. I also got this cute little bowl with vintage ornaments from Bella Rosa Antiques on line store. Not all the ornaments were pink so I added a few of my own and I think it's going to go perfect in my office.

So girls, I'm on the hunt for cute pink Christmas items. If you find any please let me know.

Oh I wish it was Christmas time right now!

Hugs,
Joanne

  7. Pink ??? you go girl !!

Oh, lordy. How come we don't change the colors of Thanksgiving ? Or Halloween ?

I haven't seen anyone do those holidays yet. Maybe we can be the first to change the colors of all the holidays.

Have you seen Treasured Heirlooms site. Kathy has a lot of christmas, pink christmas there.

    Ciao

  8. I love the pink! You are so very much a girl and I love that, too!
My neighbor does a tree in every room at Christmas and one of hers is purple--not lavendar or lilac, but purple-like Barney---not pretty. She has one room with all elves--too little kid-like. Let's just say-'I'm not the biggest fan'. I have to stay away to keep my spirit alive. She has nearly ruined it for me--has for my DH.

  9. You'll have to look for a pink Christmas tree, Joanne. I had one last year. I filled it with girly stuff ... loads of old sparkly jewelry used like garlands and icicles, vintage pink millinery feathers, and a ton of bonbon-sized pink faux cakes that I found at the wholesale floral supply (I was kind of doing a Marie Antoinette/ let-them-eat-cake sorta-theme). It was cool, if I do say so myself. I put it in my living room, along with a couple of other non-pink trees.

I found the pink tree at Home Depot. So ... you gotta keep your eye out for a pink tree, that's exactly what you need for you pink Christmas!

  11. I love pink for Christmas too! We always put up two trees. The family room tree is brightly colored with all the kids' handmade ornamants and ones we have collected as a family. My sitting room tree is filled with soft pastels and has a very feminine feel. I really like having two trees because it allows me to appreciate both.

  15. I just saw a fluffy pink tabletop Christmas tree in Hobby Lobby the other day - really cute. I think it might have been made of dyed feathers. :)

  16. I already started buying little things for Christmas gifts, Joanne. Every year I make a Christmas stocking for my kids (even though they are both adults and one is married) It's a tradition. I love to find little fun things for them. I love those pink ornaments and if i come across anything else that is Christmas pink I'll let you know.

Do you do the "Pink Saturday" posts that Beverly at "How Sweet The Sound" blog coordinates? Her link is in my blog under "inspirations" She gets about 50 - 80 participants and puts the links to everyone's pink posts up on Saturday in her blog. Tell her I sent you! You'll love reading all the pink posts too --Dana at The Stone Rabbit alwasy does a funny story. :-)

  17. You have a nice start to your pink collection! I usually start to think about our Christmas cookie exchange party about now. I just bought fabric for the prize aprons. I decided to make "general" aprons this year. I found 3 coordinating prints in purples, pinks, and greens. I've made Christmas aprons in the past.

  24. Hi, Joanne! I saw several pink Christmas trees last year; I'm hoping that a lighter shade will be available this year. A friend of mine used one to put a tea room theme together in her dining room. She had white cups and even a ceramic teapot on it - really cute!
