I had a relative who was on, and went down with, the ship.<br /><br />Along the New Jersey coast, near where I live, there are many graveyards that have both single and mass graves from those who died in shipwrecks here back in the days of sail. Many of the ships carried immigrants, coming to america for a new life, but our coast here is treacherous and wrecks were frequent.
